Frosty is like that injury prone striker. Get him on the pitch he’ll play well and bang in the goals. Only averages 17 appearances a season, scoring 12 goals - all competitions.
@BleedsIsDead only bit of feedback having read the Alien thread. Given the ability they had to gain extra kills I think it's important to have a final vote count at the end of every day phase.
I honestly think you are thinking about it too much. Each game is a different game, with a different set up. People have different thoughts and people play differently with different alignments and roles & sometimes it’s actually different people who play. Without trying to sound conceited I think I did well this game to last as long as I did. Couple of games ago Guyett caught me out straight away and I ballsed up my claim. It happens to everyone. Playing Mafia games is like playing a game of football, then a game of basketball, then a game of chess and then trying to solve a rubiks cube and expecting to be good at all of them because they are all games, when in reality they are all very different games.
Definitely need to work on your breadcrumbs though @Garrincha I know you got shot a bit out of the blue but sometimes just straight up telling the truth is the way to go as Town. Sure, it might shorten your own personal game but might help the Town. Ok, I wasn’t Town but if you’d claimed your character / role no one would have gone near you for a lynch and those who were would have looked scummy. Sure, you would have probably been killed the next night phase but it would have probably had long term pro Town benefits
I was going to out it the next (irl) day as I didn't see a lynch on me happening 24 hours before deadline but Lugna shot me
don't worry about it mate. Think about it like this. If you logged onto among us you are expected to go do the tasks just like you are a crew member if you are the alien and if you are a crew member and you are not doing the tasks you will be quickly accused. This is the same thing. you don't win by surviving you win by finding the alien/mafia/serial killer and the best means to do that is narrow the field and give them no place to hide. I made so many errors here. I had papa down as suspect and let him go, the second reddevil claims I should have got back on papa. I messed that up I had scunny as suspect. He totally fooled me. It was only when he needed a kill cos the space to hide was gone that i went back to my initaal suspiciion. I shot you on flawed logic. I allowed myself to be led to ADZ lynch. I should never have voted on that. He was a double vote. We were manipulated there. I was utterly fooled by Burg day 1 and then supposed there was no way he did what he did on TLC. I let sgt away for far too long base don being helpful. Again totally led me by the nose just by looking town Does it matter? It was fun to play and it was fun not to play watching the last game and trying to spot the bad guys. Just have fun IMO.
Why? Like RD said when SS (I think? Possibly Scunny) questioned the likelihood of my role it was no more conflcting than RD and Jason's and RD and Josh's. Logically there was no reason why there couldn't be a rolecop as well as RD's single shot. I was well hidden because my role was legitimate and I played a largely town game, including lynching 3 teammates Just to add on the Adz comment, that was a good town lynch despite ending up being a mislynch. Obviously I drove it knowing he wasn't mafia but he wasn't involved, had chosen to hide his double voting ability for 3 entire days and even when called out decided to be coy about it. Double voter becomes very strong for scum as the game narrows, so the intentions behind hiding it have to be questioned. Yes it was a mislynch, but it wasn't a bad lynch by town as far as I'm concerned.
Honestly never been more frustrated about a death. I told town to not go near me. Then sme swapped me and Josh around. Because I was watching Josh as he was a doctor, I ended up visiting myself. @Sme I will never forgive you!! Shoot sme day 1 next game WP town. Great performances from a few in this game and a really good set up from Bleeds
why? day 1 mate. it was only a maybe. As i said you built the town look consistently up to the role claim and i wrote down Eddie and i think in thread i hinted as a link between you are reddevil. I expect to see eddie and lou as cops with cheif wiggum to complete the trio. In hindsight I should have thought about that. the reason why the maybe is simple. you left your vote on me all day the first day despite the nice wagon on TLC and thats why you were in there. Once you voted on her on real life day 2 you started to look better. same reason for scunny. His vote was on Sgt all day, he commented on TLC then didnt vote. He then looked better and better each day until there was an alien kill. I looked back then and instantly thought huh. just the one tiniest little inconsistency. Amazing performances of being total and utter liars.
Oh, you had me down as a suspect because of an RVS vote with literally the first post of the game I wouldn't beat yourself up about not pursuing that one mate.
Concur will all of this. Obviously I went back round to suspecting you but had the massive advantage of knowing myself and Scunny weren’t the last Mafia - despite everyone having us down as suspects.
To be fair, telling town not to go near you could have been a bluff for a couple of nights. My error was i didn't think about any other aspect of your role. In my small head it was a good idea lol.
@Garrincha - this is pretty solid advice. I think unless you reach the end-game, every player is going to second guess things they did along the way. No game is ever going to be identical and sometimes it'll go well and other times it'll go disastrous. Sometimes your downfall has to happen to aid the rest of the game too. Talk of MVP's being those that reached the end game but I think given it was a town win you could also make a case for SH who was the first to die. He was the player most pushing for a D1 lynch which gave town a lot to go off on D2 and D3.
