We’ve been in talks with a forward for several weeks now, personal terms agreed, but Millington has worded it like we are waiting on the player to get a release from their current club. I might be putting two and two together and getting five, but any chance you think this could be a possibility?
There is a chance. We are definitely trying to offload him. The rumours are that both Newport and Gillingham were interested but the club's couldn't agree a deal. Wouldn't surprise me at all, if the deal is right.

Millington just confirmed it’s NOT Waters. He’s holding out for an EFL move. Whoever it is, is set to sign in the next few days and hopefully available for next week, probably a bit too soon for Saturday.
We’re in for Junior Morias to cover for the new front line that are made of twigs, apparently the living arrangements are the sticking point right now, he wants a fully covered agreement which we can’t do, leading me to guess it’s a loan - still in talks as it stands.

He’s good enough for league one but has zero ambition and application to be anywhere near that level, must go down as one of our most dreadful signings ever. Has all the ability but lacks the application, Classic Maverick footballer, upset a lot at Dagenham as we paid a fee and fought off Southend at the time so expected a lot. Could play high if he was consistent. At this level he is still above average. 7 in 16 on loan at BW's relegation side when on loan last season, and no penalties. better than a 1 in 3 strike rate. and a rate that would be near 20 a season. That'll do me if it transpires.
