Rumour on our forum an Oldham striker is coming our way. The general consensus is it's either Kurt Willoughby or Alex Reid.
Then they wouldn't have signed the agreements would they? As I said previously, outstanding creditors that bought the WUP on 11 week, not month, payment plans. All other football related creditors had to be settled to take the embargo off last season. So COSU have made us debt free with their investment by KO to the new season and we haven't had to go into administration and pay our creditors pence in the pound like clubs such as Leicester, Bolton, Charlton as examples from the past. Imagine how bitter you're going to be if we win on the 24th of August, while we are still gonna be happy at having a club to support ongoing! By the way Tshimanga confirmed in talks with us now.
Payments will be happening now as COSU now own the club as was agreed previously. No-one is getting knocked
All outstanding creditors cleared before season kicks off. We have had water and electricity back on for a couple of months now, and water and leccy almost paid in entirety
Well you stick to the below Birmingham cast offs and we'll scratch around the Manchester area. We have the same strikeforce as last season currently. Minus Harker who was shite but still the top Goalscorer.
Tbf reid is a run of the mill striker for this level. Will get you 10, but his social media presence gets in the way of his football. Theres obviously a striker in there somewhere with willoughby, probably a level below given his records at both levels. Never really got a run of starting games, alot of 20 min sub appearances with us which hampered him badly. Hes done with us but with a bit of love he has potential to do well elsewhere
Not seen a minute of our pre season but lots of Poolies on the socials saying we should sign up this Billy Sassy-Davy or whatever his name is. Any good?
Yes for me, still think Parkes and Waterfall are the starting two but we need someone else in there, both in their 30's and both have had spells out with injury. The later we leave this GK situation the more I think we're waiting on a Premier League loanee to be green lit from his club.
