Steve, I missed this. That schedule is phychoville. I lived in Manaus and have a lot of family up there, I know it well. Can I help with anything?

There are hostels there now, there weren't when I first went through there. I might be able to suggest some 'night spots' for entertainment. Be prepared to be slapped in the face by the heat, it is like walking into a sauna.

Fantastic. I would love to get down to Santiago, the flight from Sao Paulo alone is supposed to be amazing over the mountains.

    Also, when are you

Was working in Alaska for the last couple of days, one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to and not taken so much pictures in such a short space of time.

Going to Bakersfield, California next week, but heard that's nothing compared to what am used to in Houston. Hopefully will get a chance to drive to LA.

    Indeed it will.

Well, Petrobras found loads more oil off the coast here a few years back, and there is an increasing appetite in my sector (financial markets) for corporate IT solutions rather than in-house development so I expect that is the same for your sector. Careful in Alaska though I heard that is reachable by those loopy Koreans. :duke

I'm sure I'll eat some steak whilst there and I know Canadians go ape shit for hunting but it's not something I'll be doing this time round. perhaps in the future though... it's something I'd like to experience... Never done it before.
