I made this because apparently there's a 90% chance the heat record in this country will be broken and we will surpass 40C at least next Tuesday

30C on Monday was bad enough I don't know how I'll be coping

Saying 37C for my location on Tuesday and that's in the center of the country nowhere near the hottest spots in the South East. There is at least a decent chance

Met office has London at mid 30s for the week, I doubt we're going to see 40+

I always presumed down south would be the hottest and mid 30's max.

It won't hit 40 in Paris so fail to see how it can get this hot in England. That's Toulouse territory.

Was in Toulouse a few years ago and it was 35 degrees in September. Glorious weather and lovely city.

I read somewhere the other day, the record temperature recorded in Singapore is 37 degrees, which is lower than the UK's record.

However, the lowest temperature recorded there is 19 degrees.

Says 40-41 with a red warning potentially in some places peaking on Tuesday but 23 on Thursday .

Don't forget if you have any photos of elderly people struggling in the heat to send them in to your local news broadcasters , they'd love to see them , sadists .
