But Braintree is a lot closer and we can take more fans there than Worthing.

You won’t want to visit Braintree again, believe me.

Done it in many a pre-season friendly.

Mind you the pitch isn't normally waterlogged in July/August!!!

Alty really struggle to get more than a semi this last 2 seasons

It's going to be sad to see what's going to happen to them now. Same thing happened to us a couple of years back. The vultures will circle and that squad will be picked apart piece by piece. Players like Conn Clarke won't be hanging around.

Parkinson is a good manager though maybe he can re assemble and go again. It's hard to see Alty as finishing 4th again next season though.

This has really tainted getting promoted knowing we’ll have to visit Bromley or Solihull next season.

Alty have been us last year. Incredibly hard to go again. Play off defeats are a brutal way to see your season end

Even worse to lose on shitty plastic. I'm hoping Bromley go up at they will just be up there every season and some of the league 2 away supports might slap the 'Millwall-lite crew' all over the park outside. Its a dreadful away day

Got to be the most tinpot final for some time. Will it even break 10,000 at Wembley?

Yes Bromley should sell over 10k on their own. The are tinpot but they are well supported.

    Solihull on the other hand...

Since Fydle v Salford which was about 8k.

Bromley will get a few hangers on from the Kent area.

FGR as an away day before the game is ok

They will struggle to get 1500 now though and Vince needs to realise this has all been a tremendous waste of time.

When Sutton got promoted and ripped the plastic up they actually had fans saying they'd lost their identity. Wouldnt be suprised to see them put it back down

It’s ok to rip it up for EFL as you get that money back through other channels but once you come back down and that extra money dries up it will be a struggle for them. Other than Massive Grimsby that must be one of the shortest EFL stays for a promoted side.

Yes, would have preferred Colchester to come down, Fed up of them thinking 22nd in L2 deserves an open top bus parade

Wouldnt have been too long before they started bleating that 2 up 2 down is unfair

As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for. lol.

At least it's only 1 game a season. Pity the buggers that get them away in the cup as well! Still at least if the Prem and NL get their way, no one will have to play any replays against them any more.
