A proper size club in to the Premier league at last. Not many of us left who will have 30k every home game. :bananadance

Let the Championship goalkeeper of the season go on a free and spend £20 million (fee +wages) for a replacement. Is this the Premier League?

I don't understand why he's left for a Championship side.
Surely he would have offered enough to stay?
    Was he unhappy at Brighton?

    Various theories.

*Offered a shorter contract than desired.
*Arry offered longer contract and more money.
*Was likely a number two - Mat Ryan being number one.
*Bottled out of Premier level football.

Noone's the wiser but majority of support behind Mat Ryan though thankful for DS contribution last year.

It happened 34 years ago as well. Moseley (GK) wanted more money. He didn't get it but that was before the Bosman rule.

I think Stockdale's agent gambled that Albion would pay more.

Still a surprise he went to Birmingham. Only penalty saves make him any better than Kuszczak.

Birmingham might have an outside chance of the play-offs ???

It seems to be that Albion wanted a better keeper than Stockdale, who understandably did not want to sit on the bench. Probably saw the light before the end of last season. Stockdale may feel a little disappointed after three years.

Probably Joao Pedro, but I think we’ll rotate pretty heavily

How come it seems like Ferguson won't be starting? (Still looking at my fantasy team).
