Some of this is stunning, especially the choral/electronic works. It's a little weird to have a 2 CD set where one CD is the artist, and the other a disc of cover versions of the tracks on CD1 - but actually it works well.
Rainforest - this version by David Tudor and Takehisa Kosugi. There's another version out there that has Tudor playing alongside John Cage. This is/was an important foundation for all brands of electro-acoustic music we hear today. The idea, essentially, was to use tone generators, and resonators, with found objects. It really does sound like a busy day in the Rainforest. This version was made for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company.
