I go to most of Victory's home games. I was at AAMI park for the 3-3 draw with Welly on Sunday where we were shocking for 80 minutes and nearly lost to a very poor side.

I was amazed that Victory were losing 3-1. But then i was also surprised that City were 3 -2 down against the wanderer's. Good job we came to life in the last 10 mins.

Victory depend a lot on Honda, they're nowhere near the team when he's out injured. Should be back for the play-offs hopefully.

I think the top 6 as it is now will be the ones in the finals. Not sure if Glory can hang on to top spot though.

Eight games to go and it looks nailed on that Perth are going to win the league, Victory should hold on to second while across the road a ways Melbourne City are currently fourth and should make the play offs.

It's a strange thing here, but winning the league counts for next to nothing if you don't follow it up and win the Grand Final. Victory have a couple of new additions to the squad and Honda is back so we should have a fair shout..

Is there financial incentive if they top the league? Because there's no point giving it their all as long as they make the play offs

I agree on this play off's business. Play well the whole season and in the end it counts for nothing.

Good game last night, Victory v city. Did not think that Victory looked as good as their league position suggests, City greatly improved.

Muscat is a terrible coach but because of the lack of competition the players are making him look good. I've been to a few games where we have been totally outplayed by teams lower in the league, City at the Marvel last time out was embarrassing to watch.

There's no way that Victory will win it again this year.

I too would not favour Victory this time.

Roar v Sydney, not a bad match. Roar have played better since Aloisi left, and sydney will want to win to get second place on the ladder.

Sydney v Victory was quite an entertaining game.

Perth into the Grand Final!! I shall be there at Optus next weekend to watch. I don’t like this American style way of end of season finals. For me Perth topped the league so should be crowned Champions. If there is any justice they will win next week. From memory I think Perth have won 1 and lost 1 against both Sydney and Victory in the regular season so seems to be pretty evenly matched

Can you believe the result tonight, 6-1 to Sydney against Victory. Should be a damn good grand final next weekend.

VAR raised its ugly head again this year but this time it didn’t affect the final result, with Sydney claiming their fourth championship.

The overall standard of the game this year has been awful. I managed to watch three or four Victory games before I stopped going. Just terrible

The grand final was very poor indeed. Problem is the oversea's 'stars' are all in their mid 30's and seeing out their careers here. Not a good advert for the game.

I don't follow the A league but based on having family living in Perth and basing myself there for 2 years, I guess I support Glory. Am I right in thinking they won the league but lost the Grand Final?
