Jordan Slew and Max Taylor? Relegate them now.
Been expecting they'd come down here for years.

Suprised he's not had a look in Swindon but still a solid move for him.

I think he was on double digits last season when he got recalled around the new year, so if Hinsh plays him in a similar position he could produce something like that at York.

Think that's 5 ex Worthing boys now that could be starting for York in August

That is the most mid table NL set of signings you'll ever see.

Quite a number of sides here with a stronger squad than that.

Slew had a good 6 months for us down here, believed in his own hype and was terrible for the remainder of his contract. 100% a NL player.

Stott on the other hand, is a very astute signing for them.

There are a couple of players who could probably do a job in L2 ( Stott, Rey etc) but even they would be better signings for a NL team. The vast majority are NL level signings . They have to be favourites for relegation from L2 (Which looks pretty competitive this year). Although with Morecambe and Adams you never know.

Pools sign midfielder Greg Sloggett, played most his career in Ireland, last seen at Cheltenham.

    Yeah, no idea!

Our last Irish midfielder had his own song.

A cricketer, surely…I played in a football team once with a lad called Welltit.
Shots once had a player named Wanklyn, but he was actually quite good..

Hopefully has a similar impact, still have the vacant number 9 shirt to fill.

Sounds Adamson is being considered. Has seemed ok so far in pre-season, but I'd like to see him tested against stronger opposition first.

I’d offer him a deal but I’d be surprised if he was given the number 9, raw as you like but built like brick shithouse.

That is such a Darren Sarll type name for a player

Next up is an Irish keeper, Barry Spillit.

These days I just want us to sign a goalie who can save better than unobstructed air and isn't prone to dropping a bollock each game.

Rochdale have signed a keeper Luke McNicholas on loan from us for the season. No idea if he's any good as he's barely featured for us since signing last season. Playing a couple of times in the Pizza. Cup (where he looked OK). We paid 100k for him from Sligo so must have thought he had potential.

These type of signings I don't mind. Pools are a good move for him after getting released with no senior appearances, hopefully he'll take his chance and develop.

We've signed Brad Nicholson, last of Boston

I was really impressed by their entire defense against us last year (Zak Mills especially) so hopefully that's not just their system and he's a good player

He played at LB quite a lot which is not his natural position (better at CB). It took him quite a while to learn the ropes but he finished the season in superb form. Has a long throw on him too.

    Alexis Andre Jr joins us

The comments from Woking fans on Twitter have me worried and wondering why the **** we've signed him. Lots of comments about him missing training to focus on being a social media influencer, and how he was sacked because he left to go on the French version of Big Brother in the middle of a relegation battle.

Yep football is a sideline for him. His raw goalkeeping ability is decent but he's too inconsistent
