No. Different types really. Better comparing him to iniesta. Certainly wins on longevity but iniesta was better in my opinion. Very close though
I was about to put a small amount on Croatia at +170 which was great if you thought they’d win on PKs. Then Neymar scores just as I am readying. Now Croatia a whopping +1100 to win, I didn’t want to waste $$ on a longshot. Now wish I’d made either bet. #CrapShoot

Only saw bits of the game whilst at work, but caught the extra time and penalties. Looked like Brazil switched off after they got their excellent goal and tried to cruise the last 15 minutes. Croatia are so determined, you just can't write them off. Disappointed that Brazil are out but it's their own fault, they had chances but weren't slick enough.
Croatia played very well just not great I the final third. At least they didn't do a morroco and made a good game. Not that they'd need to anyway

Brazil should have won that in the 90, but weren't good enough to properly break Croatia down in it (that unbalanced midfield played a notable part imo), and ended up being disastrously naive when holding a lead in extra time. Not good enough penalties even without Neymar taking. Potential penalty shoot out & locking a game down, Fabinho would have been the option over Fred, who probably should've been starting with his partnership with Casemiro. Bruno for me but still. Shame it takes away that potential semi-final, but they didn't do enough to get by.
I thought Croatia were annoyingly good tonight. They have resilience and starved Brazil of the ball at points. Very much a side that only plays when it matters. Would not be surprised at all to see then reach the final again. What a manager Dalic is.
