I think they did for a Man U/Liverpool game and there was a load of fuss but who knows if UEFA would actually worry about that?

And in Germany it's 18:45 kick off for Eintracht Frankfurt vs Ajax.
**** off with your am, pm crap :p ;)

Frankfurt with a 2-1 win in Amsterdam. Normally you'd say it would be enough to advance but given last Saturday's 1-2 debacle against Union in the Bundesliga I'm sceptical

I'm very excited for tonight's game, and I assume there are a lot of Manchester United fans here.

Hope it's a fair game tonight without any injuries.

Athletic Club is about kick off again Roma. Despite the rivalry, I think we would mostly like to see our neighbors advance.

I think it's interesting that you want your rivals to progress. People don't share that attitude here in England, I think we enjoy the misery of the other English clubs failing in Europe.

Basque unity above all. While the fans don't like each other, it's not a particularly violent rivalry and we like to bring more pride to our part of the world.

Do you have the same attitude towards non-basque clubs or do you enjoy seeing e.g. the Madrid teams get knocked out?

I'm probably more nationalist than most. Barcelona is a good example. I certainly love the Spanish talent they develop for our national side, but I also hate how poor they are with finances. But really, I want more European spots so I go for the Spanish sides.

I was hoping Atleti would win yesterday as I feel bad for them and love their stability with Simeone, despite them being so hard to watch sometimes.

I'd go for any Spanish club though if they come up against Athletic Club, but as long as they are up against a foreign opponent, I wish the Basque side well.

    Good luck little brothers.

I don't know if that's a red. Horrific error form Hummels though.

    What an awful mistake.

Roma down a man, no excuse now for Athletic to not win this tie now.

I'm still not sure on the price and wages but Nico Williams would be fun.

Looking like it's going to be Frankfurt if we go through.

Rumors have been that he'll join Barca at the end of the year. He wanted to finish this European campaign with Athletic.

Nico (apparently not related to Inaki according to this dope of a commentator on TNT) scores. Interesting to see it comes after he swapped wings with Inaki.

Nico is sensational. Could already own a couple of goals.

That is certainly poor on the commentator. Maybe he thought so based on them playing for different national teams?

Romero and Van De Ven start for Spurs. Expecting a very attacking / fast start from us tonight.
