Is my first Ange came actually going to end 0-0? Wtf?

Looked really comfortable defensively, Dragusin is having a great game. No real goal threat yet though.

So far so good. Though they have more "winnable" games on paper now

Mikey Moore surely ended Werner's Tottenham career tonight.

I was coming here to ask you about Moore and Bergvall. How did they look today? I hope this is the end of Werner for us.

I’m not interested enough in EL yet to record games to watch after work. This new format, it feels like games do not even matter yet imo.

Moore was exceptional. Star of the show for us and it wasn't even close. Bergvall was better than recent performances... Some real glimpses of obvious talent, but still some naive decision making and wastefulness at times.

Bergvall - He's obviously young and understand that he's one for the future but I think he did fine. I thought we controlled the game pretty well last night and he played his part in that. I expected a much tougher night actually.

Moore - it's the first time I've seen him in the flesh and up close and it's hard not to get carried away. Maddison made the Neymar comparison and I get it. He's just one of those players that excites fans and gets them out of their seats.
He had a few bright moments in the first half and really should have scored but it was a fairly lacklustre first half from us.

Ange changed it by bringing Werner off, bringing Johnson on and moving Moore from the right to the left and that changed the game for us. I feel sorry for Werner, he's clearly in a place of low confidence and the fans negativity around him probably isn't helping - his half-time substitution got a big cheer from the crowd last night. I don't like that, I think as long as you're in a Spurs shirt you should support the player BUT you immediately saw the impact the change had.

Moore terrorised AZ from the start of the second half. The first minute he dribbled his way past 2-3 AZ players before putting a really good ball in to Johnson's feet and he just kept at that pace for a good chunk of the second half. Every time he received the ball it felt like something would happen and you just wanted to see him on the ball as much as possible. Ginola, Lennon, Bale - esque.

If Werner can re-find some confidence there might be a player there but at the moment it's hard to justify giving him minutes over Moore when you see the impact he can have in games like last night. It's hard to believe he's only 17 because you typically don't see 17 year old's play at that level.

Banana skin for us tonight. We're racking up a few absentees so it wouldn't surprise me if we take tonight more lightly and end up losing.

One of the perks to a good start in the group is that we can afford to have a bad result and rest a few. Obviously still hope we win but Galatasaray away will be an experience for some of our younger players.

Fancy Spurs to drop points tonight but might change my mind when I see the starting 11.

    Forster
    Porro - Dragusin - Davies - Gray
    Bergvall - Bissouma - Maddison
    Johnson - Lankshear - Son

Two keepers and quite a few youngsters on the bench.

I want to take this competition seriously but ironically we've actually gone a little stronger than I probably would have liked tonight. Particularly defensively, we can't afford another injury.

We have not gone strong. We've got 10 drunks disguised as footballers out on the pitch and asked Lankshear to join them.

Happy Will has his first goal for Tottenham but 3-1 severely flatters us. We've been so bad in possession, as bad as I can remember.

I wasn't confident for tonight anyway but we've been much worse than I anticipated.

Osimhen is way too good for the Turkish league this is definitely just a shop window loan for him.

Probably. He's missed two sitters too though.

I'm more inclined to say we've been bad tbh.

They've been good but I'd still fancy us to win this if we turn up in the second half.

Apparently we're not turning up. This is actually comically bad.

A 6-1 scoreline would probably flatter us. Amazed it's still 3.

Osimhen has missed 4 glorious chances.

Forster is still a terrible goalkeeper I see.

Yeah, but he's still the best performing Spurs player this evening.
