Resigned from FC Zwolle, after being hammered 3-0 by second bottom, I was going to get the sack anyway. Not sure who I'll start up with. I'm hoping FC Zwolle were just a very difficult team to manage, not be being awful at the game :p

Out of curiosity I continued the game for a bit to see how they did, and they're now bottom after losing 3 on the trot since I left and not having scored a goal.

I recommend Willy Topp to anyone playing in the blue square or league 2 scored a shed load of goals.

    Super Tottenham from the lane.
Need to buy this now. Id like to start with QPR as im guessing theyve ignored the furore surroudning ecclestone and their still filthy rich.

Love the challenge of taking a team into the prem and then building a squad good enough to surivive. Much more thrill in whealing and dealing then just splashing cash. However i dont think i could go lower then the Championship as by the time you get anywhere a lot of players have retired and theres just a wave of fake players.

QPR for me i reckon if not another bigger championship team. Reckon ill have the game by the weekend.

Argh, big struggle with Derby. My team is just a mess. I'm losing every game 1-0 or 2-1 it seems. My defence is struggling to cut out crosses and conceding too many from crosses or simple punts forward. I've also stopped scoring. I reckon this might be down to playing too short (direct could work better?).

Really struggling tactically which is annoying as I've nailed every other FM game so far. It's a challenge I will win. I think I'll be sacked at Derby though.

    I'm playing a 4-4-2 pretty standard really.

The two CM's one is a deep playmaker defending, the other an attacking playmaker.

The defence is pretty much set as standard- normal to deep as they're not the quickest. I'm not sure where to go with this game. I've tried a few things and nothing seems to be working really. I'm not creating enough or keeping enough out, my games are quite dull. My strikers have decent pace but never seem to get in past the opposition defence. I usually have decent possession which is why I'm thinking more direct may work. Really need to figure out how to set up defensively though.

I'm conceding loads, when it's not from a corner, it's from a 30 yarder, when it's not a long shot it's an own goal, it's beyond ridiculous. I'd recommend default passing, and up front have a target man with a poacher.

I'm still in the first season and you're at Biddulph on mine and you're 28. How come you couldn't set your age?

I'm guessing you must've ticked 'Add Key Staff', which this year also adds players.

It was a thing all researchers were asked to give their details, and they'd be included in the game (but ages wouldn't be set). There's been the option to manually do it with a "FUTURE_REGEN" command for a few versions, which is fun to add a few people you know and see who makes it into the Premier League...

Think I'm going to get a second game on the go.

I'm by no means abandoning my Tampa Bay game and will most likely return to it, but I found a database on FM Base that has a huge Scottish League structure and want to try it out

Myself and my friend have a game going, Im Spurs and he is Villa.

Have played 7 games so far: (H) Prem Liverpool 4-0 win, (H) Prem Sunderland 2-2, (A) Prem Portsmouth 3-1 win, (H) LC Leeds 1-0 win, (A) Prem Man Utd 2-1 loss, (H) Prem Birmingham 2-0 win, (A) Prem Stoke City 1-0 win.

Im currently 2nd in the league and am very happy with my form. I only brought in one player, Turkish attacking midfielder Arda Turan and am signing Argentine central defender Gabriel Milito in January. Oh and surprise surprise Ledley King came off injured in the away win against Stoke and will be sidelined for about 2 months with a hip injury. Defoe has already got 5 league goals and Modric has 3.

I brought in several coaches and scouts and decided to make Modric club captain with Woodgate vice captain.

My mate is doing okay with Villa, hasnt played many Premier League matches due to Europa League fixtures, but as mentioned above by someone else, he has found defending a problem and has conceded a good few.

In a game started as Liverpool, bought Danny Koevermans for £2m, scoring plenty as Torres is injured, Aquilani's really good aswell, once he returns to full fitness.

Won the play-off final against Leeds (as Millwall) in my first season, and am now about to start my 2nd season, this time in the Championship. Picked up a few good free transfers in the close season; Vladimir Weiss, Darren Ward, Da Laet and Sylvinho.

Lewis Grabban is red hot on this, which is weird, as he is complete and utter shit in real life.
