I wonder if he'd think nuking an entire city was justified if the IDF told him there was a terrorist cell lurking somewhere within it.
Funny how bombing civilians is so shocking when it happens back to them isn’t it. Time to leave them to it, Israel have been the aggressors in all of this yet the UK seem intent on backing them to the hilt
Surely all that proves is that the IDF is more efficient than the opposition as killing Israelis was obviously the intention ?
Or alternatively it proves that a professional army, air force and navy, with 21st century technology and weaponry and supported by the US navy just offshore adds up to a better killing machine than the other side?
So has greed and interference. Most wars on this planet are started by Western interference and insistance that everyone lives under their version of democracy...oh and oil.
Of course, but the other side would be doing just the same if they were competent enough. Given that Israel is vastly outnumbered in the region they would be mad not to take every advantage they have and use it. That is why they are still there.
Well clearly Israel have never been shy of taking everything, hence their activities in the West Bank, which of course has landed the world in the mess it's in now.
I have a nasty feeling that not much of Israel will survive this war if it escalates further, they have probably bitten off more than they can chew. Now Iran seem to be fully involved in this war now, things will get a lot more testy for Israel, they no longer have to just defend a few out dated missiles Hamas and co used to send over. Now they have a fully and well armed nation to worry about....as well as all the smaller enemies on their borders. I just hope to **** we dont get involved, Israel have brought this on themselves.
The I certainly hope we don't get involved and don't see why we would. Every time Israel has been at war with arab nations they have pasted them, they will flatten Iran too in neccessary. I may of course be wrong, but I doubt it, in a ground war Iran has no chance. Why is the world in a mess because of it ?
Outrageous that UK forces have been used to defend Israel. They are allowed to bomb indiscriminately and murder women and children knowing full well they are backed by western forces. Have we not learned a thing? Stay the f*ck clear of getting involved and stop enabling countries free reign to commit genocide.
More performative stuff from Iran. As surreal as it sounds to say that. They had to do 'something' to save face after Israel took out the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah in the space of a month. They'd looked quite weak up to yesterday. We're on the brink but I don't think it's inevitable.
I doubt the vast majority of the UK public share this view now! That probably wasn’t the case a year ago
