You've just signed another ex Posh player in Dwight Gayle on a free , he could be your David McGoldrick until the end of the season if he's fit , a good & clever signing & i imagine only Derby in this division could afford his wages & may well help bag you that top 2 position .
Not sure about that. He was about to sign for port vale a few days ago until Collins got ruled out for the rest of the season. also he’s a free agent. Not as if he had clubs lined up higher up
He has started his Derby career very well, can find space, works really hard, and has 2 goals in his last 2 games, you my friend look like u have it spot on, with your prediction.
JCH has signed for Rotherham . Good signing & a Steve Evans signing , what with Hugill & Eaves a good front 3 there .
On a Free , he's out of contract but was our highest wage earner . I've just backed Rotherham for promotion either automatic or via play offs at 4-1 double with Carlisle top 7 div 2 at 10/11 , Rotherham are the archetypal yo yo club & already have decent squad .
No , nothing . He's signed a 2 year deal & most probably a handsome signing on fee , he'll be 31 when that is over & then I'd imagine he'll go back & play for The Gas .
Fair play to them & Bolton as it looks like there could be around 65.000 at Wembley on Saturday , if it was Posh v Barnsley we'd probably struggle to get 50.000 between us .
Plus we've got Nombe, who did well in this league for Exeter. Rumour has it that Hugill was on around 15k a week in the Championship, no idea if it drops with relegation but I bloody well hope so. If not we have to hope he gets an offer from a Championship club.
Ouch , £15k is serious cash in this league & I can't see many takers for him back in the Championship . You'll have a busy window with Evans in charge , at Posh I think he released 16 & signed 18 & sent MacAnthony mental ,though as a fan it was quite amusing , until one of his signings Jason Naismith alledgedly chinned him , albeit i think Evans has mellowed , slightly .
There are rumours now circulating that his pay is halved because of a relegation clause, if so it will make him more of a target and TBF at that level of pay, he might be worth hanging on to. He probably won't look at it that way though. SE will be busy and I'll no doubt be wasting many hours trawling rumours sites but at least there is some semblance of life in the club now he's back.
