It's gotten 2 straight weeks at the top of the Japan billboards.
How long will it last there?
    I'd guess 8 weeks

55 and still clearly likes to nick bits here and there to make something else (even 2 of his own tunes alone in this song) but this is proper good

It’s wonderful, I’ve had it on repeat for pretty much the whole week. Probably their 2nd best record, after Trouble Will Find Me, in my opinion.

Also the new Everything But The Girl album, Fuse, came out in the past couple of weeks (as I saw you mentioned them earlier in the Thread), bit I was a little underwhelmed on first spin.

Other albums from this year so far, that I’ve loved:

Manchester Orchestra - Valley of Vision (only 6 track on this, but it is absolutely gorgeous, these guys literally never miss)
City & Colour - The Love Still Held Me Near
    shame - Food For Worms
The Lathums - From Nothing To a Little Bit More
    Inhaler - Cuts & Bruises
The Reytons - Whats Rock & Roll?
    Paramore - This is Why

Really looking forward to the new Nothing But Thieves album, Dead Club City, in July. The first track from it, “Welcome to the DCC” is just great…

It's superb. I've already worn the virtual life out of it I've played it that much this week. Funnily enough, I rate it just behind what I think is their best work, High Violet.

Elbow's tenth studio album gets released on the 22nd which I'm surprisingly meh about, but Nick Cave has just announced new material is hitting the virtual shelves in August, which I'm unsurprisingly very happy about..

Elbow's aforementioned (above post) tenth studio album is out today and it's receiving very favourable reviews. The NME (I know, I know) opined; "gnarly, naughty and their best since 'The Seldom Seen Kid'. I'm off out to get it..

Pearl Jam just released (Finally, he says) their new 'un, Dark Matter. First impression is it's the best thing they've done in an age..

Taylor Swift has just dropped another very long player, extremely long one if you get the anthology version, and if you e bought the previous two records you’ll not hear anything very new here..

Just bought Frank Turner's latest, Undefeated, remarkably (his words) his tenth solo album of his career. Haven't listened to it yet but it's getting very good reviews. That's me for the next few hours then..

I've now listened to the above album and I can safely say that it's Frank's best work to date. It's quite punky in parts but there's a mellow side to our Frank which gives him licence to write some lovely songs..

@Richard I’m very excited for his new album. k Koke is such a random collab but it’s worked so well

Never sure if I’ve ever put him your way before @Jonny Ninja but probably someone you’d enjoy too. He’s got a song with Method Man (and another on his new album) which is a pretty insane collab for an artist from Brighton

All I can say is, the Modfather strikes again. It's a lot mellower than his previous sixteen solo albums (has it really been that many?) and there are strings attached, literally, and he co writes all of the songs because he couldn't be arsed to do the lyrics for another record as he's said just about all there is to say, for now, but it's a glorious album, especially if like me you're a big fan. OK Panj, take a breath.

I'm four or five listens in, I love it.
