Quaresma has been brilliant! No idea what that VAR call was about, absolutely robbed. Porto lucky it's still only 1-0 Sent from my Pixel 7a using Tapatalk
He’s been ridiculously good in that first half brought in from the cold and thrown in at the deep end! ****ing tragic VAR again - Pepe sent off. How can the Porto players sarcastically laugh about that decision ? Really are a horrible team Porto
Anyone know how easily I could attend Benfica/Toulouse? Thinking of staying for the weekend so I can go to the Porto game too...
Wolves are signing Rodrigo Gomes from Braga for €12M, staying on loan at Estoril until the end of the season. Sent from my Pixel 7a using Tapatalk
Great 5-1 win tonight and Porto huffed and puffed to a 1-1 draw. Gyokeres without any of our 5 goals but got himself 3 assists
How good have Moreirense been this season!?!?! Great 3-1 win against Estoril tonight and they're 6th with a 7 point lead over Famalicão. Really looking forward to Porto vs Braga tomorrow, pressure starting to build on Sergio, he really needs to win this one. Sent from my Pixel 7a using Tapatalk
Solid win against Braga but I reckon now Mourinho is available the pressure will be on big time if they don’t compete for the title
Good win tonight. It’s strange seeing us be the team blowing teams away by simply out scoring them. Usually jealous of Porto and Benfica’s front lines but Gyo has made such a huge difference, he’s even making Paulinho play well! With some of the var decisions we have in Portugal it’ll be interesting for sure
Say any of you guys been to a game in Portugal. Got this little line-up lined up: 15/12: Braga/Qarabag 16/12: Famalicao/Rio Ave 17/12: Porto/Estrela 18/12: Benfica/Vizela Not doing Benfica/Toulouse, I'd rather leave my spot to some south-west folk who won't have a taste of European football in a long time. However, I can't understand a thing on Braga's website. All they seem to sell currently is an away youth league match! Do fans usually pay at the gate in Portugal (even European games)? Not too worried about the other 3 games, reckon I'll easily get a ticket for those (although surprised that you can currently buy a Porto/Arsenal ticket on general sale!).
When I went to Estádio da Luz I just got tickets from one of the club shops in Lisbon on the day. I imagine Dragão will be similar. Not sure about Braga, when I went there it was in the away end with Wolves. I can't imagine you'll have trouble getting a ticket, that stadium is way too big for them. Let me know how you get on though, I'm planning a trip there to hopefully see Moutinho play one last time before he retires. Enjoy it mate. Beautiful part of the world. Going to Lisbon and choosing to see Benfica over Sporting It should be pretty easy to get hold of tickets from official club vendors in the city. Hope you have a great time and looking forward to hearing about it. Ticking off Porto and Lisbon in one trip is definitely one I’d recommend, two beautiful cities with different things to offer
Thing is mate, I have a poor experience with getting my tickets in the Europa League on the day. The first time was Spurs vs AEK Athens when I was living in London. Held the purchase until D-Day until I logged onto the website finding out that no tickets were being sold on the day. The second was more recent when I travelled to The Hague to attend Alkmaar (who couldn't host the game in their home ground as the roof had just fallen off) vs Partizan Belgrade. Went to the ground and again no sale on the ground. In the end I watched the game at the pub and ended up having a good time with Partizan fans who told me all about the rivalry with Red Star. Certainly a more dynamic conversation than sitting next to some kid glued to this smartphone the whole game. Anyway, not attending Braga wouldn't be the end of the world. Hopefully it'll be 3rd time lucky for me. I very much prefer Sporting to Benfica. Don't know the ins and outs of the rivalry but always had a soft spot for the boys in green living in the shadow of one of the biggest club of the world. Growing up, I absolutely loathed Benfica as they were always knocking out PSG in the UEFA Cup. Then we got rich. I'll come back for a Sporting game for sure! In terms of visiting, spent a weekend in Lisbon but non-football related. Great place. Have a couple of friends that spend their summer vacations in Porto and love it so I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed.
