He's absolutely thinking the knife will be in his back next and he can't trust a word the owner says. Great start to a working relationship

Everyone in the game knows we are a basket case but we still hold some pulling power. It makes for a strong CV if you can succeed here. New manager will know that.

No fan of Sarll, he has massive bit of a prick vibes but then Raj is also a prick so you never know it might work out. If he is still in charge by December then we're probably in for a good season.

Hope it works out for Sarll, Big gamble!

Reading a lot of stuff backward and forward regard KP, But if memory serves me right
Did he not walk away from SShields cause they would meet his budget demands.

Owner aside which is a pretty big thorn in the side of any new manager admittedly, it's still one of the top opportunities outside of the EFL to manage, look at DC, took him a season and a half and the bloke was idolised here and has since rocketed up the leagues.

Raj ain't gonna sell, he's just not interested, not matter what he says, all we can do is hope he gives Sarll a competitive budget and that he can do the business next season, or like you said, 6 months time he'll be panned and we'll be scraping at the arse end again.

We are basically the Watford of the lower leagues

You're right he won't sell so fans have a choice of boycott, try and fvck him off that way or put up with it and hope it'll somehow weirdly work out.

Fan base is still split between those who support the Trust and want it to succeed and those that don't, a boycott wouldn't have the desired effect, me personally I can't be arsed with any of sniping, statement exchanging, back biting tribalism of it all.

4 escaped mental patients seems more apt.

Thanks for the welcome, I can’t wait to discuss what our circus comes out with next.

Upped sticks with family just after leaving school, commuted to London from here to Uni and after a short spell in Surrey, moved back for work due to its unfortunate proximity to Basildon.

Our manager is leaving us, contract has ran out and won’t be extended.

No idea who we’re going to appoint next but has to be the correct decision

We had years of having biggest budget does not mean a thing in that league.
Askey got us hard to beat and managed a late charge,he is perfect for that league.
If your fans want pep-esque football you will stay a long time in that league. If I had to watch bloody Alfreton/ Boston long ball/throw bully boys anymore I would have had a breakdown.

On another note hope Leamington get promoted, you need to witness that place before your allowed out,Nothing more non league than that place.A horse watches the match from away end.
