    yes!! looks like this window might axctually be turning out to be a strong one after all the frustration.

    have to be honest I didn't think Levy would sanction a 20M+ fee this window but he's turned one up here. fingers crossed he can actually justify the price and if he and N'jie turn out to justify the hype we might have a cracking front 4 on our hands here.
    but he looks fast and tricky and at 6 foot he seems to have a good stature. his goal record in the past 2 seasons from midfield is very impressive. only just turned 23 so young and may improve yet.

    I would say arguably the transition from bundesliga-to-premiership is easier than other leagues. seems quite intensive and fast paced. I reckon theirs less foreign flops who have come directly from Germany not that I've bothered to look at any specific stats. maybe that's a good omen :hmmm

    no doubt Levy will love him as he'll be a cashcow for all the Korean supporters buying his shirt. doubt be surpised to see a few more of their faces popping up in the stands this season.
    WELCOME TO WHITE HART LANE!!!!

    Just can't understand what is going on at Spurs. I don't rate Pocchetino but thats by the by. You should surely though be going for bigger names than this guy - It's got flop written all over it. Coupled that with Kane looking a one season wonder and it appears there needs to be some big decisions made at Tottenham Hotspurs.

    I know you're just trolling but right now we can't really sign big names, we can't pay the wages. But Payet, Inler, Cambiasso, Clasie are all players that would have improved us and we were looking at unlikely targets.
    While Kane hasn't scored and isn't at his best form he's actually playing rather well, convinced he's not some 1 season wonder.

    I think Lord Celery should be more worried about his beloved chelsea at the moment.

    No point in settling for mediocrity though - Poccetino should be able to get more out of the players he has rather than spending £20m on a 1 in 3 striker from the Bundesliga. Also Asian players have no pedigree whatsoever in the Premier League. I'd be amazed if this guy turns out to be anything special.

    We need to get somebody in who can give our players a right rollicking because at the moment they're under performing. Dennis Wise as Director of Football would be just the ticket. He'd certainly slap the remnants of Arsenal out of Fabregas and turn him into a winner.

    Well he must be a bit confused then because that's what he says he is in that video. £20m and the c*nt doesn't even know where he plays on the pitch. Mind boggling.

    This is worth bumping for Celery's posts alone but Son scored Tottenham goal number 94 tonight.

    What a signing he has been. On the verge of joining our special list of centurions. In the form he's in it probably won't take him long to get another 6.

    1 - Jimmy Greaves - 1961-70 - 266 goals in 379 appearances
    2 - Bobby Smith - 1955-64 - 208/317
    3 - Harry Kane - 2011-present - 198/296
    4 - Martin Chivers - 1968-76 - 174/367
    5 - Cliff Jones - 1958-68 - 159/378
    6 - Jermain Defoe - 2004-2014 - 143/363
    7 - George Hunt - 1930-37 - 138/198
    8 - Len Duquemin - 1947-57 - 134/307
    9 - Alan Gilzean - 1964-74 - 133/439
    10 - Teddy Sheringham - 1992-2003 - 124/277
    11 - Robbie Keane - 2002-2011 - 122/306
    12 - Les Bennett - 1946-54 - 117/294
    13 - Jimmy Dimmock - 1919-31 - 112/438
    14 - Glenn Hoddle - 1975-87 - 110/490
    15 - Bert Bliss - 1912-22 - 104/215
    16= - Billy Minter - 1908-19 - 101/263
    16= - Johnny Morrison - 1933-39 - 101/154

    Son - 2015-Present - 94/237

    Yeah probably. Just needs to top it off with a trophy before he leaves / retires.
