Son broke in to our top 5 goalscorers yesterday. I don't think Son is prolific enough to break that top 3 in all honesty but what a servant for the club. I hold no grudges against the Munich freak but we had two world class attacking players at a similar stage in their career, one wanted out and the other stuck around. He may well have nothing to show for it at the end of his career but we've seen world class talents move on for their career and others only really stay at Spurs because their careers have been hampered with injuries (Anderton, King etc).

Son genuinely showed loyalty when he could hypothetically have gone anywhere he wanted. I think there are many better and more successful clubs that would have taken him if he'd shown an interest to leave.

Sounds like he'll extend his contract again so hopefully he'll get a well-deserved trophy before he retires.

You only see Keane, Defoe and Sheringham on the list from the Premier League era which shows you how rare it is to stay at one club for so long and score so many goals. It's bonkers we've had two come through in the same generation.
