Well the links to Gravenburg aren't going away, so I wouldn't rule out another midfield signing. I'd rather a CB over another midfielder when we're pretty stocked in that department but hey ho.
Yeah it's looking very likely now. I'd have rather a CB but looking over things, Gomez/VVD/Konate/Matip/Quansah maybe enough, with Endo able to step in defence as an emergency, I wouldn't like us to fall back into that trap again like we did when we had no other choice in putting Fabinho their. But at least we'll have enough midfielders to be able to maintain the central area unlike before where we had to sacrifice the midfield to plug the defence if we did have to go back down that road.
Well it just doesn't look balanced to me, it's all attack so it will be interesting to see how klopp achieves thst balance. Szoboszlai is the best of the lot by a mile. Great signing
I think the thing with Gravenburg is his age, he fits into our bracket of what we are building, and there could be scope that he could be moulded into a number 6, but with different attributes to a full number 6.
Alexander-Arnold out for the international break. Might still be injured by the return, but only for a game.
Given that Konate might be back, even if not, Quansah Matip central defence and Gomez moved to the right. It should be enough against Wolves.
Some sweet long passes there. Cant wait to see how he does once settled in properly. Really happy with the midfield this seasons, looks so refreshed and no longer wide open.
I can honestly see him becoming a little bit of a Kop favourite ,just got that feeling he will give everything he's got to give to that midfield.
Reports Julian Ward is back at Liverpool ,apparently he made a return and was involved in our transfer window movements mid Aug.
