Real Madrid v The Spanish Man City Live on ITV4 , should be a good watch A 4-0 Madrid mullering for Girona with their number 20 & pink/purple haired right back having a nightmare of a match which could have been made worse if Madrid would have scored from a last minute penalty he also gave away . Didn't know that the ' New Bernebau ' has a retractable roof , very swanky .
Really good odds in the Madrid game today away to Vallecano. Their opponents are bottom of the form table with no wins since January 6th, only scoring 3 goals in the last 5 games. On Ladbrokes I got Madrid to win, to score in both halves and to score over 3.5 goals at 6/1. Put my leftover winnings from the superbowl on it (£39.10) for a potential £273.70 return.
Ok so for a while I was on the Mbappé is a selfish bastard leaving the club for no money camp but after discussing the matter with several people (mainly on Twitter), I can see why he's doing it (or at least see where he's coming from). Back in 2021, PSG received an offer of 180-200M€ from Real Madrid when Mbappé only had one year left on his contract and it was laughed at by Doha and the salary offered back then was reportedly higher than what he is going to make next season. Mbappé then opted to wait a bit and finally extended his contract a year later for 2 seasons plus an optionnal 3rd (the option was never taken). Methinks he didn't like the way Doha treated the offer and he is making the club pay for such tactless methods. When CR7 left United for Real Madrid, the offer was taken seriously and accepted. Point is, 200M€ is not a lot of money for Doha and they thought making Mbappé the highest earner on the planet would suffice. How naive they are. He's still a twat though.
Looks like Athletic Bilbao are heading to the Copa del Rey final . 3-0 up on aggregate v Atletico Madrid. They will hope to go one better than in recent finals against Real Mallorca .
Crazy mate I dislike them but that's such a bad call the ball is literally in the air for the attack when he blows
Ball had gone in from a corner, been batted away and as the ball was being sent back in the ref blew. I have very little sympathy for Madrid here tbh.
Bad timing for the ref to blow but had the whistle not been blown who's to say Madrid score? Likely Valencia thought the whistle meant the game was over, funnily enough, so they stopped trying to stop a goal.
the ref needs to wise up. blow up for a free.kick to throw defending team on any sort of spurious decision if you have to. it's done all the time. he should have had the whistle in his mouth and the second it was touched blow up. if he's 2 seconds late thennthsts what's triggered the galactico entitlement
Any particular reason why La Liga hasn’t got a confirmed fixture schedule in April or May ? Apart from Real v Barca . Spanish La Liga - Scores & Fixtures - Football - BBC Sport
Almeria have won their first game at the 29th attempt today away to Las Palmas. I hadn’t realised just how bad Granada have been either as they’re only 1 point ahead and only have 2 victories all season.
Given who we're going to play in the quarters, I gave this a watch last night and it wasn't even a contest. Barca were just better. Lots of lying on the floor from Atletico but ultimately very little going forward without Griezmann.
Surely won't get away with it and if there is an appeal on this outcome he will have to serve some sort of sentence? Dani Alves: Ex-Brazil player to be freed on €1m bail after rape conviction
