I wonder how many teams after winning the euro's then fail to even qualify for the following euro's...real possibility of that happening with Englandm unless we get something out of tonights game.

Fine, well deserved win for the ladies in France, still 3rd in the group though, but they've got themselves right back into contention. England recorded their first win in France for 51 years in a women's international and this was the first time France have lost at home since the 2019 World Cup, a run of 21 games.
Yeah it wouldnt be the end of it, but no-one wants the lottery of the playoffs, and given our ranking we really shouldnt have to rely on that. But a great win gives us hope of a top 2 finish.

You've got 12 (men's) Premier League teams in the WSL next season. Very much a case of unless you can run at a loss, you can't compete in the women's game. I feel for clubs like Doncaster Belles, Lewes, London Bees, London City Lionesses, Durham etc who've been long-standing "success" stories in the women's game but will likely get left behind with the way the women's game is going. I don't know how the money is distributed in the women's game but hopefully as the revenues continues growing they'll use it to help those further down the pyramid. The Super League title feels fitting at the moment and I'd argue it's more imbalanced than the men's game is.
Not surprising Miedema has chosen to stay in England but that feels really risky on Arsenal's part. I'm guessing there are concerns around her fitness (ACL followed by a knee injury) because otherwise they've let one of their best ever players go for free and join a title contender in the process. Fantastic signing for City if they can keep her fit.
"Let" is a strange way to phrase it - it's possible they did everything they could to keep her but she was just dead set on signing for City.
