Just following on from this but also worth noting Arsenal are one of the best supported clubs in the women's game at the moment.

The pressure at Arsenal is probably as high as at any other club right now. They need a response in this game.

You've got Shaw upfront so can't moan about big strikers!

First time I've watched Ramirez for Chelsea, she is causing Arsenal all sorts of problems.

Yeah, neither defence look particularly solid so it's been a good game. I'm sure there'll be more goals in this.

Arsenal defenders will be delighted to see Ramirez going off.

Yeah it's got progressively worse under Eidevall. Back to back 3rd place finishes isn't acceptable.

There's no running power in the squad. I look at Chelsea and see James, Ramirez, Baltimore and just seen powerful runners. Loads of excellent technicians but no power.

Obviously had some leeway the first season. I think last season the league cup successful alleviated some of the noise around the manager as they'd at least won a trophy. He is under real pressure now though. The squad is very much his now.

In fairness to him though, the team have at least responded. 2-0 down after 15 minutes they could have crumbled but Arsenal have looked much better this second half.

Results business when you're at this point. This isn't a process or a rebuild, there are a plethora of experienced winners in this squad. Potentially 7 points behind Chelsea after 4 games is really unacceptable.

Manchester United 2-0 Spurs at HT.

Really frustrating. We've been the better team, United have been really underwhelming but they've pinched the lead before halftime.

I wasn't confident going in to this game and then our starting 11 had three usual starters out injured which made me more pessimistic but our performance has been good today.

Former Tottenham player Bizet assisting both of United's goals :rolleyes
United's goalscorer (both goals) hadn't scored for the club prior to today.

It wasn't a 3-0 game but result is all that really matters. A more clinical team get a result today though, hard to believe United have yet to concede. Although their keeper does look decent.

Think we've got Chelsea next so the fixtures don't get any easier for us.

18 shots apparently but no really good chances. A lot of wasted set pieces too. Should have created better chances but probably didn't help we were missing a few of our better players.
