Knew you'd be the one to pounce on the news.

Japan is indeed already through. Iran will very likely join them next week as they only need a point vs Uzbekistan (at home).

Crazy so many can qualify. Out of the ten we could have seven going which if my calculator works properly tells me that is 70%.

Was a time was just four teams going to a World Cup.

I was scratching my head as why Kyle Walker is still getting caps ?

New tournament , new manager , new ideas , new blood for the future , imo , is what is should be .

If he had picked up a knock he wouldn’t be on the bench would he?

He's in the squad for both games so if it was just a minor knock then probably, yeah.

If he's picked that back line out of choice then my word.

Maybe he's just giving Dan Burn a lifetime achievement pity cap.

Apparently he has a good record at Wembley, so fair play.

I thought he might have went with Livramento at left back after his good performance in the cup final

First moment of quality. What a pass from Bellingham and a lovely finish.

    Lewis-Skelly looked stunned.

A lovely bit of play for the goal. Lewis-Skelly looks a cracking player, another top prospect England have.

Liking the link up between Foden and Jones in the inside right area, they seem to have a good understanding despite club differences.

Funny that we could have had half our defence on the score sheet. Lovely goal for the debut lad, and then Burn unlucky.

You were saying he couldn't head a week ago

(I'm actually really chuffed for Burn and think he can be a not-so-secret weapon for us, but Guehi should be alongside him. Easily England's best defender over the past two years).

I was saying he couldn't score headers haha

He's always been good at them defensively as he just needs to get it vaguely away from the goal. Unfortunately that was exactly how about 95% of his attacking headers also worked during his time with us
