Hopefully tomorrow is tickets actually going on sale, only way i've got a hope of getting some is if not everyone is aware it's happening. If it's an announcement for a sale window they'll go within 10 minutes at best.

They won't go on sale at 8. Same, I'm worried about getting tickets but if they are playing Wembley X10 plus Manchester gigs. There is going to be like a million tickets available.

They'll still disappear before the servers can even catch up and cope. Touts will get in as many gigs as possible and buy as many batches as possible, they'll be going for £10k before the end of the day.

How was Turner? Would love to see him live but not many people come to Japan, and when they do it is a midweek show in Tokyo for twice the price it would be in UK :(

They might be selling them for 10k but no-one will be buying them.

It will be an announcement of the gigs and the date the tickets will be going on sale, no doubt they'll be countless presales as well.

He honestly gets better every time I see him. I saw him as support for the Counting Crows where he did a half hour acoustic set and my wife, who had never seen him before, said why didn’t you tell me he was this good?
The Forum gig with his backing band was just incredible. So, so good.

Woke up this morning (now there’s an idea for a song title) to get a message from the wife that she’s bought tickets for the Good Things festival in Melbourne on December 6th.
Korn are the headliners, with Sum 41, Mastadon and Billy Corgan (amongst loads of others) being the support. I’m actually quite pumped because in much smaller lettering than Korn I see that Frank Turner is also playing.

Wasn't my next gig buy my last gig was leeds fest retirement party (we're not doing camping festivals again pretty sure, maybe Glasto next year but doubt it getting too old) and I had a great time, Pendulum, Catfish, Spiritbox, Amity Affliction, Neck Deep, Skrillex, Blink, Loath, Sonny Fodera and especially so Fred Again were all killer 9 or 10 out of 10 sets really good stuff.

As for Fred Again, if he keeps producing tunes as good as he has on his first 3 albums and putting on shows like what I saw at Leeds he's going to become the biggest act on the planet, actually unreal gig and I was completely blown away.

Next gig is Jimmy Eat World in November.

Went to see Iron Maiden Sunday just gone at the RAC Arena in Perth. Absolutely brilliant. The fact that they are all mid-late 60’s (and early 70’s in Nicko’s case) and can still put on a 2hr high energy show is mind boggling. Mind you, my mate said something to me before we went in that I think made me appreciate the gig more. He just simply said “With the age they all are this could well be the last Australian tour” :( Really hope not

Frank Turner and Gaslight Anthem? If I still lived in Oz I would be flying to one of those shows.

Can't quite believe I'm getting to see Frank one more time while I'm here, this'll be the fourth gig in six years that he's come down to Oz. What a man..

Well, when I said I'm going to see Frank one more time while I'm in Oz that's now not quite true, because three days before his appearance at the above festival he's just dropped the news that he's doing a gig at the intimate Gershwin room at the Esplanade hotel in St. Kilda. Bought my tickets this morning, £35 each, standing at the back will only be about forty metres from the stage. I'm moshing the feck out of this..

Purchased a ticket on Friday to see Metallica in Perth next year. I nearly baulked though as it was a $483 (£250 approx) ticket. Mrs D pushed me in to it saying I wanted to see them and missed out in 2019 as they cancelled the gig so I should just go and see them. Ah, it is only money - if I don’t spend it on myself someone else will spend it when I am dead and gone

Next gig up for me is Crowded House at Kings Park on November 30th

Wow! That is steep mate but if you wanna go you gotta go. As you say, it’s just money, I’m not sure how they can justify that price though. Are you in GA near the front or did you go posher?

We've got tickets to see Pearl jam on Monday night but what with the wife being a huge fan we decided to go to the Marvel stadium last night and have a picnic outside while PJ played their first of two nights. The sound was really good from out on the docklands but the only downside is the band played Jeremy and they don't play that behemoth of a tune twice in a row. Still, it was lovely sitting on the steps drinking and eating and listening to some sounds in 26 degree heat, great way to spend the evening..
