I was expecting alot more from Sancho, not like he has a great player in front of him unlike Phillips who hasn't helped himself tbf when he has played.
Sancho was bought for which utd manager? Ogs? They immediately bought Anthony (who is a shambles) for ten hag. I might be wrong but sancho actually looked like he gave a stuff by tracking back a bit while rashford stunk the place out. Hrs not helped himself since and got in a row with ten hag who then treated him.like dirt so we just don't know from our distance who was wrong or if both were but it's fairly clear he's now gave a stuff again and fired dortmund on a bit. Sancho was overpriced day 1 but that's the market.
Tbf, what has Sancho done? He was signed for £70m+, £300k a week. Played poorly when he did play, then disappeared. Came back, was equally as shit and then fell out with the manager, getting paid in full and not playing. About to be sold for a huge loss. I'd say they were equally as bad.
Phillips could have had Carlton Palmer in front of him and he'd have still flopped. Bang average player if I've ever seen one.
Fabrizio Romano reveals that Benjamin Sesko will decide on his future this week - with three clubs interested in him: Chelsea, United, Arsenal. He also has a new contract proposed by Leipzig on the table.
I wonder how small his release clause is? There has to be something hard written in rather than a levy style gentleman's agreement
they inflated valuations with another Italian club for FFP reasons saying players were worth more than they would have actually moved for on the open market, doing swap deals is perfectly fine
Right, but my point was more geared towards the irony of Juve trying this again after their whole Arthur/Pjanic shenanigans.
A few clubs on these shores (including ourselves and Manchester United) have been linked to Joshua Zirkzee in the recent months. A Milan based journalist is claiming AC Milan are on the verge of signing him but are being blocked by the fee Kia Joorabchian is demanding. He wants €15m The player has a €40m release clause. Milan-Zirkzee: torna la richiesta di 15 milioni di Joorabchian, Furlani decisivo
I don't know if the Luiz deal is a normal swap or whether they are trying to fiddle it for PSR purposes (i.e. Juventus pay £60m for Luiz, Villa pay £20m for McKennie + £20m for Iling-Junior). Mixed feelings about the deal as Luiz has been one of our best players for a number of years and a big fan favourite, but if it goes through it should sort out any PSR issues and we will have Tielemans + potentially Barkley and McKennie to play the 8 role, and Iling-Jr on top of that. McKennie was rubbish at Leeds but has just come off his best season so hopefully he can adapt this time. Iling-Jr is a good long term investment and gives us Ramsey-Rodgers-IlingJr-Duran as a potential future front four. I heard Man City still hold a sell on clause and may still have interest, as do Arsenal, but a sale abroad would be an easier pill to swallow. Iling-Jr has bee on a radar for a while apparently too.
