Leicester 1-1 Spurs today. A bit of a nothing game really as it looks like Palace are going down so neither are playing for anything but pride. Spurs are really struggling for goals and clean sheets. Disappointing season really.
Another solid win from the girls. They've taken more points than Chelsea since Slegers took over (in spite of a Chelsea victory against them in the league).
Anyone watching the nations league matches tonight? Disappointed that the BBC have KDB leaving as main story when there's actual football on that should be top story. Yet more disrespecting the lasses.
Belgium were absolutely dreadful and England managed to capitalise. Certainly won't be that easy at the Euros.
I love the lionesses but my team is AFC Wimbledon both men and women. The suggestion of no promotion and academy teams allowed into the National League alarms me. The EFL trophy has been diminshed by the introduction of academy teams. Is the women's game to follow suit? I really hope not.
Seems like Liverpool gave it a good go but Chelsea heading in to the FA Cup final. They still have a chance at winning the quadruple in the manager's first season.
Arsenal v Lyon tomorrow lunch time. Going to be very tough as Lyon are right up there with Barcelona. Some well informed people seem to think it's going to be a bit of a goalfest.
Good effort from the girls today, really should have come away with a draw but Lyon’s quality is too much. Gonna take a massive push in France next weekend
That's the end of the quadruple dream for Chelsea. Looks like another final won by either Barcelona or Lyon.
Just if anyone did need reminding how miles ahead Barcelona are of everyone else, they are currently 7-1 up on aggregate against Chelsea with another half to come.
What are Lyon playing at? It'd be great for women's football for Arsenal to break that dominance. Hopefully it'll be a Barcelona champions league double though
What a performance and one of the most historic days in the history of the club, man or woman. They’re got a truly incredible difficult challenge in the final but anything can happen in a 90 minute match of football. Renee Slegers, what a job. She’s going to give Chelsea a big run for their money next season. Edit: To emphasise just what an incredible result this is, Lyon had previously won all ELEVEN of their previous CL semi finals.
